The Toccoa River Swinging Bridge is a popular outdoor attraction near Blue Ridge, known as the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi at about 270 feet long. Suspended over the scenic Toccoa River, it offers visitors a unique, slightly bouncy walk with beautiful views of the surrounding forest and rushing water below.

For waterfall enthusiasts exploring Blue Ridge, Long Creek Falls stands out as a must see highlight. This scenic, two-tiered waterfall drops about 50 feet in total and is accessible via a short spur trail off the Appalachian-Benton MacKaye Trail. The hike is an easy, roughly 30 minute journey, featuring a gentle uphill walk on the way in and a downhill return.

Another picturesque waterfall near Blue Ridge known for its double cascade and lush forest surroundings. Located along the Benton MacKaye Trail, it's reached by a short, scenic hike (about a half a mile round trip) that winds through shaded woods filled with rhododendron and mountain laurel.
Directions: From Morganton, follow GA Hwy 60 South 17.7 miles to the Cooper Creek Recreation Area turnoff on the left. Continue on FS Road 4, 2.9 miles to a fork. Turn left and follow road .3 miles. Park and walk .1 mile to the falls.
Directions:To reach the falls proceed north out of Chatsworth, Ga. on Hwy. US411 for 13 miles to Cisco. Turn right on Old GA 2 Rd. Continue on this road (pavement ends about 1.8 miles) 10 miles to FS 62 on the right at Big Frog Loop Road sign. Turn right on FS62 and continue 4.4 miles to Jacks River Trailhead. The Forest Service fee parking area is on the left. The trail to the falls is 3.5 miles of moderately easy walking on an old railroad bed. After reaching the river follow it downstream 0.5

The Aska Adventure Area, a favorite among locals, is a 17 mile network of hiking and mountain biking trails located on National Forest land near Deep Gap off Aska Road. Individual trails range from 1 to 5.5 miles and are open year-round.
